TOUR 2026!!! Singing a Journey of Freedom - Songs of Slavery and Emancipation

Join us on a tour, from June 12-25, 2026, of key sites on the Underground Railroad. The tour would
bring together 30+ passengers interested in the history and experience, along with an ensemble of
singers from KY, other nearby states, and from Switzerland, who will perform songs of the enslaved
and abolitionist songs from the Songs of Slavery and Emancipation Project. Project. Where applicable
the tour will also provide workshops under the direction of Dr. Kathy Bullock so that local singers can
learn some of the songs and join in the performances. Additionally, where appropriate, we will offer
screenings of our documentary film on this project.
The tour will include sites in Peterboro, NY (National Abolitionist Hall of Fame), Niagara Falls, Ontario
(Churches of Nathaniel Dett and Harriet Tubman), Lake Placid, NY (John Brown Farm State Historic
Site), Torrington, CT (John Brown’s Birthplace), and other historical sites of the Underground Railroad
in KY, Ohio, NY, VT, and MA.
